Ferrari F430 Scuderia

The F430 Scuderia  is powered by a 510-hp, 9000-rpm, 4.3-liter V8 engine that makes almost 30 horsepower more than the standard F430 engine. Ferrari says it can go from a dead stop to 62 mph in a mere 3.7 seconds. The engine uses a carbon-fiber intake manifold and a sophisticated spark plug ionization-monitoring ignition system. A paddle-shifted six-speed semiautomatic transmission is standard on the car.

The Scuderia model is a lightweight version of the existing F430 coupe, with a few extra grilles and vents on the body for cooling, and a pair of pointed stripes running over the body from nose to tail. Ferrari says it is completely street legal in the United States, but the car has only the bare minimum of creature comforts for the weekend racer who wants the fastest version available.

SAAB 9-X BioHybrid

The Saab 9-X BioHybrid concept is a vivid vision of what a future compact car from Saab could look like. It is designed to reflect the priorities of youthful customers who seek progressive looks, responsible performance and high-tech communications, all in a sporty, fun-to-drive package.

Exploring design themes from Saab's award-winning Aero X and earlier 9X concepts, the 9-X BioHybrid also demonstrates the potential for ultra-efficient power from a 200 hp (147 kW), 1.4-liter BioPower turbo engine backed by GM's next-generation Hybrid system. Projected combined cycle CO2 emissions of just 105 g/km on E85 fuel are testimony to the promise of this package

Lamborghini Reventon

The Lamborghini Reventón is a road vehicle with an extreme specification and, at the same time, a limited edition masterpiece, inspired by the very latest aeronautics.
With just 20 produced, each 1 Million Euro (without taxes) Lamborghini Reventón
is a symbol of extreme exclusivity, yet still offering the extraordinary performance that makes the Reventón so unrivalled: under the completely autonomous design, the Reventón possesses the entire technical and dynamic competence of the twelve cylinder Lamborghini.

Initial reports suggest that the 6.5 L V12 may receive a power boost of approximately 10 horsepower (7.5 kW), bringing the new output to 650 horsepower.
In spite of this, and the car's carbon fibre components, the Reventón accelerates to 0/100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds. The car is capable of reaching a maximum speed of over 340 kilometres per hour 211.3 mph.

Alfa Romeo 8C

The 8C Competizione is inspired by Alfa Romeo's glorious past, projecting its brand values of technology and emotion into the future. The historical allusions begin with the evocative name, recalling the great sporting tradition of Alfa Romeo.

The engine is the beating heart of any Alfa Romeo. In this case it takes the form of a brand new 90° V 8 cylinder unit with a cylinder capacity of 4691 cc that was designed with one aim in mind: to ensure extraordinary performance while still offering a smooth drive and being usable in all circumstances, from the track to city traffic.

The top engine performance figures may be summarised as a maximum power output of 450 bhp at 7000 rpm, a peak torque of 470 Nm at 4750 rpm and a top speed of 7500 rpm.

Porsche Cayman Strosek

DRIVING DESIGN is the trademark of Vittorio Strosek. Now an exclusive STROSEK Individual Program is also available for the new Porsche Cayman S. It includes striking and aerodynamically efficient body components: Engine tuning with up to 380 hp / 280 kW, custom-tailored light-alloy wheels with 19- and 20-inch diameters and precision-calibrated suspensions lend the mid-engine sports car even better handling characteristics.

STROSEK DESIGN offers two performance levels for the Cayman S: A tuning kit consisting of sport air filter, metal catalyst, sport exhaust and reprogrammed engine electronics provides an increase in power output from standard 295 hp / 217 kW to 320 hp / 236 kW.
Even more punch is available with the STROSEK DESIGN conversion to a 3.8-liter six-cylinder flat engine with 380 hp / 279 kW and a peak torque of 415 Nm. With this engine the coupe sprints from rest to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 288 km/h

Peugeot 908 RC

The  Peugeot 908 RC is powered by a 5.5 litre twin turbo V12 developing 700 horsepower and 885 lb/ft of torque. The same engine due to be run in Peugeot's 908 race car for the le Mans 24 hour race in 2007.

Inside the Peugeot 908 RC concept all comfort systems including radio, MP3 player, satellite navigation, four-zone air conditioning, etc can be controlled via a large touch screen, or MMI (Man/Machine Interface) as Peugeot calls it. The MMI is also accessible to the 908 RC's rear passengers, thanks to a multimedia screen positioned on the centre console separating the two rear seats.

Audi R-Zero

The Audi R-Zero concept bares a striking resemblence to the Audi TT, Nissan 350Z, and Infiniti G35 coupe. A project that has come out of the International School of Design in France, more specifically transportation designer Franck Levivier and digital designers Remi Marchand and Pierre-Olivier Wagner.

The R-Zero is an exceptional supercar benefiting from an outstanding architecture. The electric motorization allows an original hierarchical organization of the streams of air in order to to control the behavior of the airflow around and inside the car. The structure of the aerodynamic flow optimizes cooling of the motor and the brakes, as well as generating steady aerodynamic support, all of which is synonymous for performance.
